Our Educated Girls Will Have No Husbands To Marry By 2023

The National Council Of Catholic Women Organisation of Nigeria, yesterday have encouraged parents to send their male children to school. According to them, most male children are on the streets hawking, while they are supposed to be in school. In the next 10years there would be scarcity of quality husbands in the country.

“The future of this country is going to be very bleak for the male-child. How many girls do you see hawking clothes? Go to Onitsha, they are all men. We have looked round and have come to see that there is a neglect of boys in education. Who are the armed robbers on the streets? They are mostly the boys. Let us concentrate on training boys.

We might soon be faced with a situation where our educated girl-child will not find a corresponding suitable boy-child to marry. This is because more boys drop out of school, apparently because the high rate of unemployed youth discourages our young boys from appreciating the need to be educated.

Quality husbands will become extremely scarce, with too many highly educated women looking for husbands, and settling for anyhow husbands, just to get married. The result of this type of situation is better imagined and will not augur well for Nigerians”, their president stated.

Between Our ‘National Whore’ Beverly Osu And Our “National Prostitutes” in Government –Kayode Badmus

Bev sex2
Write up by Kayode Badmus on Nigeria's BBA rep Beverly Osu's recent sex romp in the house. Read below;
So our “National Whore” Beverly OSU (outcast in Igboland) finally gets down with her 90days confused ‘dada’ boyfriend Angelo in a rather pathetic and undignified manner. But then what’s the difference between Miss OSU and our pathetic politRicians who f**’s us everyday without reprieve. Now the difference is that unlike former Nigerian contestant, Ofunneka Monokwu who got drunk and was ‘FingerRaped’ by a “married” ‘dada’ 5years younger than her, OSU(which best describes her anyway) warned us all with weeks of flirting and several foreplay…you wouldn’t forget in a hurry the popular ‘fingering’ or “Nigeria’s sub-rape” as posited by movie maker Charles Novia which the people we elect don’t ever do before betraying us.

For your information, Beverly kept warning and preparing us for what to expect from her, making it obvious that her highly active libido which has in the past been satisfied by people like rapper 2shotz and several unconfirmed video directors(remember she is a so-called ‘video vixen’) could not endure the torture of 90days without getting some.

Although overnight, several blogs have made a lot of noise about the “uninteresting” bathtub act between both house mates making Beverly more mentioned online than GEJ and Dame altogether in the past 20hours, its quite disgusting the show of shock in some quarters over the act…as if we never saw it coming.
Apparently its high time I give my opinion on this evil BBA which has continued to glorify bad manners, dirty acts and of course help create more jobless youths turned un-useful overnight celebs in the several participating countries. Africa seems to be at war…a war with poverty, bad governance, insecurity, economic crumbling, terrorism etc and all we can think of as a unifying factor is -in Novia’s voice “Ghana giving Tanzania STDs” or “South Africa sub-raping Nigeria” or perhaps the glorification of privates parts turned continental public areas for global consumption in the rather disgusting shower hour.

Like most young people, I am affected by what I read and watch on the internet and so it is left to imagination how many youths on the African continent who have been possessed by this show of shame and degradation of the African culture. Nigeria is at war in the North, Zimbabwe is in another political crisis-an aftermath of yet another Mugabe self transition, Mali at war with itself, Egypt in comatose and several other crisis on the continent and in one day, two unguarded young adults disgracing themselves and embarrassing their families overshadow all these turmoil. I can imagine Beverly’s mother watching the ‘bathtub show’ and saying proudly to her friends in Nollyhood’s Mama G’s voice…”that’s my girl”. Oh what an irony.
Over the years, Big Brother Africa organized by some disgusting firm in South Africa has continued to dement the thinking of young adults who now believe what they see is normal especially in the “globalization” context as against values they were taught by their parents and ofcourse our deceitful society. In the 2007 edition, Richard Bezuidenhout rapped the drunk Nigerian mate, Ofunneka and simply said there was nothing wrong with it. Like he said “Well, this is Africa”, the rest is history as the ‘Manual rapist’ as Richard was referred to went on to win the $100,000 prize of the game. Again what an irony.
Like the good Professor, Professor Wole Soyinka who thoroughly detest the continental show of shame, it is pertinent to at juncture posits that the silence kept by people who perhaps can make a positive change is most rather unwelcome. Its high time we all condemn in its entirety the activities of these agents of a demoralized Africa where our hard-core moral values which is synonymous to us as a peculiar people on the surface of the earth is being bastardized with the mask of entertainment.

Nigeria is a Country where pornography is condemned daily and several moves has been made to control internet porn yet BBA invades our airwaves with a milder kind of soft porn while we sit back perhaps hapless as teenagers and even their younger ones are introduced to a world of immorality right in their father’s parlor…atleast in the past kids who wanted to indulge in this had to do it with some discretion(hidden dvds, porn obtained through bluetooth from friends’ phones etc).

BBA Chase is a nuisance, why encourage youths to chase indignity above dignity, indecency above decency, why spend so much resources to promote moral decadence. Somebody needs tell, Multi Choice that Africa needs better moral teaching packages not a show where girls with kids out of wedlock and boys who should be fathoming a way forward for our economic lock jam only come to showcase their sexual prowess …

PERHAPS its high time our National Assembly who have in recent times shown interest in similar matters(#same sex marriage,#ChildBride et al) promulgate a law prohibiting any Nigerian citizen from participating in this show of shame while also prohibiting it from being aired on any Nigerian package on DSTV (We even heard when they tried deliberating on the possibility some years ago,it was frustrated by some UN-honorables who were quite excited about the shower hour).

PERHAPS this might just be a way to begin checking the excesses of Multi Choice’s control of our airwaves. Atleast we wouldn’t forget in a hurry the embarrassment given the country during the last Nations Cup over televising on local stations. Still on the Nations Cup,I believe this is enough for the unification of the continent unlike what the thieving organizers of the amoral BBA which promotes promiscuity among opposite sex.

PERHAPS in the subsequent shows we should be watching out for homosexual intercourse shown live across the continent,I can just imagine life trans-country ‘bonning’ ofcourse to our valueless chagrin. PERHAPS our politicians would awake from their slumber then and start crying foul. Or PERHAPS,a rift which might someday go bad with the use of sharp objects resulting to PERHAPS bodily harm or even ‘God forbid on their behalf’ PERHAPS murder.

Come to think of it, what justification do we even have as Nigerians after all an OSU sorry OAU(Obafemi Awolowo University) student has recently entered the Guinness book of World record for Longest sex covering 15hours,7Mins and 23seconds, I wonder what this would do to us as a nation.
Perhaps, I should never have even written this or PERHAPS it is my obligation to in order to prevent our future generation from living in a society where immorality ‘is nothing’(in Olamide’s voice)
…PERHAPS
Dats wassap!

Prostitution Runs In Abuja

After visiting several locations known to be red-light districts, the Federal Capital Territory Administration (FCTA) through its secretary for social development, Mrs Blessing Onuh, announced a “total ban” on próstitution throughout the nation’s capital city.
A 48-hour ultimatum was issued for all women of easy virtue to vacate the city and quit the job “because they constitute a nuisance in the city”. She added a fatwa on their male patrons who ruined “some of the girls [who] are under-aged”.

Other severe measures were lined up; security agencies actually combed some of the red-light districts and made several arrests. But rather than the scourge abating, it appears undying like the proverbial phoenix.Próstitution in Abuja has metamorphosed from the conventional sedentary practice in local brothels to a sophisticated cartel of “runs babes” and the corporate realm.
The “executive” type now holds in many luxury hotels in the Abuja metropolis and the exquisite homes of the super-rich. Notorious spots include Port Harcourt Crescent, off Gimbiya Street, Garki; Adetokunbo Ademola Crescent and Sheraton Junction in Wuse II; and virtually all the discotheques. Even in poor neighbourhoods like Nyanyan, Mararaba and Gwagwa, little girls have joined the illicit trade.
They parade a horde of half-unclad girls and women of various ages and sizes brazenly exposing themselves, while openly and desperately beckoning on motorists and passers-by to pick them for the night. They insult, poke rude jokes and pour vituperation on those who look at them scornfully or ignore them.Indeed, for Abuja’s affluent and powerful men, it has become commonplace to place order for these women on the street or import them from other states and even from far-flung countries in the Caribbean and Asian countries.
High-society social, political functions are incomplete without a harem of these shadowy women. The import of these is that the upsurge requires a holistic framework to be able to deal with this seemingly intractable scourge.

Although the focus is typically on the females, no heteroséxual próstitutes exist without willing male companions ready to pay the price for their services. Blamed for the resurgence of this social vice are the lack of job opportunities, the lack of education, and other socio-economic issues such as low self-esteem or psychosis.
The flourishing religious centres have provided no succour either. Since the menace is defying these stereotypes – for example, a former minister once confessed that our tertiary institutions were churning out more prostitutes than career-ready graduates — education and religion must be tweaked towards combating it. Parents, civil society and the traditional institutions should embrace family values and expose those who flaunt illicit wealth and inculcate the right ethos in the adolescents to discourage the evil act.
Most importantly, the government should provide jobs, encourage entrepreneurship and provide an enabling environment for the realisation of opportunities and sense of self-worth. Our young daughters and sisters must be discouraged from selling their bodies to filthy and immoral men who have nothing but money, HIV/AIDS and other venereal diseases to offer.

Scammers And Yahoo Yahoo Boys relocate to hotels

On June 4, 2013, armed robbers invaded a house in Apapa GRA, Lagos and among the goods stolen was a blackberry phone. Shortly after the incident was reported at Apapa police division, the phone was tracked down at Harvester Hotel along Ojo Road, Ajegunle, a densely populated area of Lagos state.

Armed detectives stormed the hotel. In the hotel, the officers discovered that, for three months, five young men had been occupying three certain rooms. And they were promptly apprehended. Those arrested were Desmond Isreal Ozore, 27, Solomon Miebi, 38, Jamiu Adigun, 23, Hakeem Apejoye, 25, and Umukoro Jerry, 22.  Although, they claimed that the controversial blackberry phone was bought in an open market, they admitted that they decided to relocate to that hotel for easy access to their unidentifiable and undisclosed business. Police say they are internet scammers, allegation the suspects have not denied.
The suspects were arrested and owners of the hotel invited to explain why they harbored such young men for such a long time without alerting the police.  According to the police at Apapa division, this arrest is one out of several cases especially of fraudsters that have been traced to hotels where they take permanent or prolong residence. “In most cases, the owners of the hotel will be arrested and prosecuted, while others will be released if it cannot be established that they are accomplices to the crime. It is no longer news but we gladly storm any hotel, if we can get concrete evidence that fraudsters are resident there. We have discovered that most of them, although they claim they are merely internet fraudster, are also armed robbers at night.”
At the police, the suspects sensationally told why they decided to relocate to hotel rather than stay at home or business centers. According to Desmond, whose family lives in Ajegunle, the hotel remains the safest place to operate from. “Shortly after I dropped out of school due to lack of funds, I decided to try my hands in online dating. Initially, we use to patronize business center but we were constantly raided. If you decide to stay at home, your family members will disturb you and your neighbours will see you as a deviant. In this era of one million boys, your neighbours can point at you as a suspect.
“But if you can lodge in a hotel room, it is easier and safer. Most big time scammers are resident in big hotels but since we are still young in the game that explains why we are currently staying in this hotel and pay as much as N5000 per night.”
On their modus operandi, Desmond, who claimed that he is yet to record a major breakthrough, said: “We make use of online dating networks by applying as older men or young girls with a stable background. Most of these men and women are more comfortable when they know you are advanced in age. In this era of facebook, you can easily access the photography, names and detailed information of an individual. You keep trying your luck till it finally clicks. Luckily, the money that I have made in this business is enough for me to comfortably pay for this room on a daily basis and still save money. You need concentration to succeed in this business.”
Another suspect, Solomon pleaded that they have no case to answer since their victims were not forced to part with money. “They normally give us money out of sympathy. It is becoming more difficult because they are aware that some people are out there. This is why we had to device another technology which ensures that if your target demands to see your face, the programmed image will appear at her own end. People are frustrated and in need of love that is why they are easily deceived.
“My family has written me off as a liability because I am still at home at the age of 38. I had no choice but to relocate to the hotel and do my job from there. I was the one that bought the blackberry phone that exposed us. I never knew it was stolen, I believe that this is God’s way of telling us that there is nothing hidden under the sun.”
Another suspect, who felt that he could be exonerated, confesses that although he had spent two months in the hotel, he is a pickpocket. “I am a professional pickpocket and that it where I raise money to pay for a room in the hotel. It is only an intelligent person who can comfortably go into scam business; it is meant for graduates. I tried it once but it was not easy because I cannot speak good English.  Ajegunle is very hot for criminals or any young man to loiter about without a definite source of living. I had no choice but to reside in the hotel since the money I make on a daily basis by picking pockets is enough to pay my bills. I am not an armed robber or a fraudster. I only take advantage of people who are careless with their properties, especially their wallets.”
When our correspondent visited the hotel, the manager was said to be very busy. However, one of the receptionists who spoke on the condition that his name will not be mentioned said that the hotel has no business with whatever any client might be doing in his room.
“We are here to make money, so long as it is not a life threatening issue. Our cleaner do access the room and report anything suspicious. These boys do not owe us; therefore we are not bothered that they spend months in the hotel. It is not our business; it left for the GSM providers to track them and arrest them,” said the receptionist.
Continued the staff “When those boys were traced to our hotel, we quickly handed them over to the police. It is not a new thing; if you should invade all the hotels in Lagos state, you will discover that scammers are all there. They felt that they cannot be traced and most especially the privacy to freely discuss with their mugu.”
Meanwhile, the Special Fraud Unit, Ikoyi has declared war on hoteliers who accommodate fraudster in their premises. According to the commissioner of police, Tunde Ogunsakin, the fight against cyber crime is not restricted to the prime suspects; it extends also to the accomplice, including owners of hotels where the former are arrested. “It is part of the responsibility of owners of hotels to ensure that they monitor the activities of their guests. They flood these hotels because of easy access to the internet and it is expected that the hotel should establish a control room, which duty will be to block such activity within their premises. Such a guest should be asked to vacate the premises or is reported to the police.”
Our investigation indicates that this is becoming a phenomenon – fraudsters exploiting the impersonality, security, coziness and convenience of hotels to perpetuate their activities. Even within hotel environment, they are not hard to identify. And because of the liberalization of access to the internet and the hassles of operating from cyber cafes, hotels provide haven. According to a hotel staff in Festac area of Lagos, “the most obvious object you see them with is laptop. Once they walk into the hotel, you will know that this one is yahoo yahoo.”
With this new operational strategy, these fraudstars may just be playing catch me if you can with anti-crime agencies. Once it was plain OBT (obtaining by Trick), then they get sophisticate with the entry of internet, operating from cyber café. When the police and the Economic and Financial Crimes Commission (EFCC) turned the heat on that, they now moved up a notch – to hotels. Reaffirmed suspect Desmond: “If you can lodge in a hotel room, it is easier and safer. Most big time scammers are resident in big hotels but since we are still young in the game that explains why we are currently staying in this hotel and pay as much as N5000 per night.”
